With 15 years of industry experience in mineral exploration across North America, John has a wide range of surface and underground experience in all facets of the exploration business. Prior to joining Excalibur Metals, Mr. Gilbert served as VP Exploration and Corporate Development for Silver Range Resources Ltd. and also ran a successful private prospect generator, developing and vending exploration projects in New Brunswick, Canada. John holds a bachelor’s degree in geology from the University of Massachusetts – Amherst and a master’s degree in structural geology from the University of Vermont. Together with Partner Luke Schranz, they have recently formed a private project generator company focused on base and precious metals targets across the Western United States.
